BIG NEWS! We have a new grab-and-go location in Printer’s Row. We are inside Neccessary and Sufficient Coffee (728 S Dearborn St.) on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays 7am-2pm. We have our traditional Filipino and American pastries and also a new soup-of-the-week!
We also will be at the new South Loop Farmer’s WINTER Indoor Market on the first Saturdays in January, February and March at the Roosevelt Collection. We will return to the Printer’s Row Saturday SLFM next season.
Sadly, we are no longer offering non-wedding, custom-made cakes to new customers so that we may focus on the rest of our growing business. However, we can still provide wedding and non-custom made cakes.
Tropicake Chicago specializes in classic Filipino pastries such as Mungo, Hopia, Ensaymada, Pan de Coco, Mamon, Spanish Bread and more. We also have extensive experience with wedding and specialty cakes along with French and American pastries. Chef Erma has extensive experience working in vegan restaurants, so has accumulated Gluten free, vegan and other special recipes and expertise.
