Erma Cuenca-Price was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 2001. She began her career in bakeries, restaurants and hotels in Boston before moving to Chicago. Now she works as the Head Pastry Chef at ZED451 restaurant while also operating Tropicake Chicago. She won the People's Choice Award in 2014 at the World of Chocolate event supporting the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
Previously, she has worked as a pastry chef/cook for Restaurant Sixteen at the Trump Tower, Girl and the Goat, The Ritz Carlton Boston (now Taj Boston), Harvard University Business School and La Morra Restaurant.
Chef Erma also has expertise in preparing dishes for specialty diets such as diabetic, vegan and gluten free.
She currently lives in Chicago with her husband and daughter.
